Reason for the non-Wolves related thread title? Because I'm in Vegas, baby, for a 3-day baseball tournament...double header today so I'll be missing the basketball game. Hence the early thread start.

The FNG winning streak is now at 5 games...hopefully I'll be as lucky at the craps table tonight. We face a disappointing Magic team that is fighting to get out of the play in...currently just a half game out. They're not a bad team, but they have two big issues: they are a poor 3-point shooting team, and they are missing Franz Wagner. Bane is still dangerous beyond the arc, so I think Finchy will have Jaden on him and Randle on Banchero. Kyle is questionable with a knee injury, but nobody else is on the injury list for us. I'm looking for a big bounce back game from Jaden as long as he doesn't jump out on Bane as he's launching three's.

You guys are on your own, so I'm counting on you to bring home a victory...I'm off to play ball.

I see Beringer was transferred to Iowa and Rocco was brought up. Makes sense to get Joan some playing time. Rocco played very well in his last Iowa game. It'll be fun to see if he gets some garbage time minutes today.

Rockets play San Antonio tomorrow. A win today and a Rockets loss tomorrow would give some nice breathing room at 3.

It gets a lot better than that! In addition to HOU at SA, there is also NY at LAL. And on Monday, DEN at OKC. And on Tuesday, HOU at DEN. All sorts of buffers could be expanded! Of course, that assumes a win today, and a win at LAL on Tuesday...
