This is gonna be a tough one, boys. It's challenging enough to have to play Denver without our best player. But in addition, we're not going to have Anthony Edwards either . So I guess it's not surprising that Denver is currently favored by 11 1/2.

But there are a few reasons we might be able to keep this one close tonight. For one, Denver really looks like a team that is much more interested in Cancun than winning...they looked completely deflated at the end of the last game. Further, Gordon is such an important player for them, and he's questionable with his calf tightness. Even if he plays, I don't think he will be very effective. And finally, while I'm skeptical that Ant will return for any playoff games this season, I don't think his teammates are. They have seen how quickly he bounces back from injuries, so they may be thinking he could be available for some of the Spurs series. And that plus the "let's do this for Donte and Ant" thing might make us a hungry team tonight.

I'm booked up tonight, so I'll be watching the replay much later. I'm counting on you guys to bring home a win!

How quickly would the Spurs and Wolves face off if both team's end their series in 5 games? San Antonio plays tomorrow

Aussie, I think they wait until round 1 in both conferences before they set the schedule for round 2...they want the semifinals in both conferences to start at about the same time. So if we want to improve our chances of Ant being available for some of the Spurs' series, we have to cheer for at least one series to go 7 games. I think it's likely...2 or 3 of them could go 7.

Not saying the wolves win tonight but would this be the first time in NBA history a team could win in 5 and be the underdog in all 5 games (wolves will be the underdog all 7 games if it gets there)

Great question, kek, and while I don't have the answer, I would guess "maybe". More evidence that the NBA world still hasn't caught up with how this iteration of Timberwolves significantly overperforms in the postseason...our board (and myself) included.
