Word is he really wants Kyrie. To me the fit makes 100% the most sense. I could see Kawhi and him being legit of course too, but to me Kyrie would be more attainable pricewise I'd think.

I'd hate to see Chet's value than if we are going off of an elimination series.

My sources are telling me Abe also has questions about the future roster he wants answered.

Word is Abe feels like people aren't taking his DVR reports seriously. His stance on asparagus has also been a source of tension.

Chet also has a ring (though at this rate if he continues to have bad series, his own reputation there will grow). A team can and will view Chet as an perennial all-NBA DPOY candidate who can be a cornerstone of a championship team. Randle doesn't have that to fall back on anymore.

Morant, Kyrie, Giannis, or Kawhi will be on the roster at the the start of next season. Any dreams of those who want to take a step back and get younger for the possibility of taking two steps forward can put those dreams to rest. Ant is not going to display patience for that route.

I suspect you are correct, Bloop. If Ant either talked to Windy or talked to somebody he thought might talk to Windy or Shams, he wanted the world to know he wants change. Every player has questions about the roster and it doesn't mean they are unhappy. But making a statement like this to a known "leaker" is an indication of at least some dissatisfaction. I'm more interested in WHY Ant said this, and I think it's one of four reasons:

1) He really wants to win, and recognizes his 2-way game is not impactful enough to win a chip without a top 5 player next to him. This is what I believe, but Ant has a lot of pride and confidence, so I don't think this is the reason.

2) He really wants to win, and while he sees himself as as a true Batman, he knows he needs a true Robin next to him. If not reason 1, I hope this is his reason.

3) He hasn't liked playing next to another ball-dominant player like Ju, and wants to handle the ball more and always be the first scoring option. I hope this is not the reason.

4) He, or maybe his primary baby momma, isn't happy in Minneapolis, and this is the first volley in a future demand to leave. I think we all are hoping this is not the case.

Time will tell, but suffice it to say he has TC's attention.

Is there something other than the relatively vague quote Windhorst said?
