Kyler Murray era begins? (MN vs GB thread)

Obviously I don't have super high hopes for KM overall, I really think at very best he's a 10th -12th best QB in the NFL when he's on, but more likely a 20th type (he was ranked 23rd by the recent NFL FO poll, probably fair). However, with our weapons on offense (potentially great Oline and WR's) he should be able to have good success.

I really think our season/SB chances if we have any hinge on our defense being dominant which is possible.

I see us winning this game for a couple reason. Home game and Micahs out. Kind of a must win really since it is both a home divisional game and Micah is out. You got to pull this one out.

I'll say

Vikes 24

Bush leaguers 20

It's easy to have high hopes for both the offense and defense, which infers high hopes for the season. KM might not be in the upper echelons of QBs, but he's the most competent QB we've had since Cousins!

We won't know until the rubber meets the road starting this afternoon. I tend to agree, this is a must win for the Vikings if they want to be taken seriously. A loss would be a complete buzz kill...

Don't think I can suffer another season watching this offense

Only for the Packers to easily march down for the response TD

What a buzz kill. I was expecting a lot more on both sides of the ball.

On another note, I have Hock on my fantasy team! :D

I guess I need to keep my assessment of this team open for another week. It sure seems like GB gifted us a bunch of plays, and then imploded.

For sure, but our defense made plays too. That is my one hope for us, we need them to win us games. They need to be #1 in the NFL and probably get a lot of turnovers too IF we have any kind of dreams of doing anything in the long run.
