Another terrific video analysis from one of the best. I’ve been viewing Ayo as critical to the Wolves success next season. This video unpacks what Ayo can do for us and how important he will be.
This newly constructed team was clearly designed to revolve around Ant and LaMelo. But it’s important to remember that those two can’t be expected to consume more than around 65 of the 96 minutes each game. That leaves at least 30 minutes each game to fill at those two positions every game. Moreover, we have to expect Ant and especially LaMello to miss some games - hopefully not a lot. Having Ayo will allow the team’s offense to continue seamlessly at a high level and without any large shift in style during games or in games when either LaMello or Ant is hurt because Ayo can do much of what both Ant and LaMello do well.
Further, Ayo’s scoring punch off the bench will be critical in the absence of Naz.
