12.5 Dogs - Wolves at Spurs GDT

Well, that's disrespectful...

Guess I'll step up and take the loss for this GDT.

Not only disrespectful, Tim, but I think also a bad line. The Spurs are 3-2, and really haven't beaten anyone good yet...heck, they had to go to OT a couple days ago to beat the woeful Jazz. I get that we are coming off a game last night, but only Jaden played more than 30 minutes. And also I've noted that the psychology of a long season sometimes means that superior teams slack off when their opponent is missing its marquee player. The Spurs are likely to win this one, but I don't see them winning by double digits. We were 2-1 against the Spurs last season, and our loss was only by 3 points (but yes...I think we had Ant in all three games). Of course they blew us out in the playoffs, but regular season is different. I want to see us keep this one close tonight.

Rudy on Castle and Kuminga on Wemby perhaps? We're longer than them at every position except Wemby and when Kornet subs for him. Otherwise every single matchup we have the taller/longer player. That didn't seem to matter last year though...

Rudy questionable with back spasms.

Sick Clark on Wemby!

And maybe Rocco will finally dress for a game...

If Rudy doesn't play, who starts? Beringer or Lyles?

Crap...that makes my Wolves +12 1/2 bet look a lot worse. I think he has to start Joan...most of us are looking at this as a scheduled loss anyway, and it would be a good way to gauge how close he is to being an NBA starter.

Scheduled loss means they have nothing to lose!
