Wow who would have thought this would have happened a few weeks ago. One of my friends said he put $100 on the Lions winning today and made $1000. What happened to the Packers?
Looks like AP pretty much finished off the game in the 2nd half. I wish I would have seen the game. Oh well.

Packers have lots of injuries right now and their Oline is suffering because of it. It will be a dogfight by the time we play them in the last week of the season. Our d is amazing this year. You have to go way back to even try and compare. Love Zimmer, think he's done an amazing job. Least penalized team in the NFL. When have you ever been able to associate discipline and the Vikings.

Vikings have an exceptional D, a well above average running game, and a questionable passing game. Maybe it's the Minnesotan in me, but for as good as things have gone so far, I'm concerned that as the meat of the schedule approaches they'll find themselves in situations that AD cannot save them from.
I don't know if Teddy, the line, the receivers, or the coaches are at fault, or all of them, but that passing game has to find a way to become reliable if they're going to do any damage in the postseason, or even get there.

Fun stats...the last 2 years of Frazier's HC time the Vikings were among the least penalized teams. That was one thing he had going for him IMO. I think the difference is the penalties the Vikings do have have been nearly all defensive penalties at least that's what I saw reported a week or two ago. Defensive penalties I can live with when they are an aggressive plays.

Well that didn't last long. They just didn't have it yesterday. Never could get momentum. They have a tough schedule the rest of the way. Can they got 3-3?

Well, they're still tied for having the best record in the division, although technically they are second because the Pack holds the tiebreaker.
While my Wolves predictions have been terrible this year, I unfortunately predicted this loss to a friend before the game. My reasoning was the most important player on our team, the left tackle, has been having a Pro Bowl year, but he wasn't able to practice all week...and Kalil doesn't play well hurt. Well, Kalil started, but he played more like he did the past two injured years than he has been playing this year. And with the right side of the line not very good either, Teddy was on the run all game. I think he had by far his best game of the year, but it wasn't enough to even keep us close.

I got them going 11-5. Teams don't generally win Thurs night road games unless the home team is terrible, and that GB game will mean something.
Remember: TONS of caproom this spring, and thats before the Wallace, Munnerlyn {and Peterson?} cuts, as well as the Loadholt and Robison restructures.

1. They took the cheese!
2. This team has won seven games, against middling to bad teams, and even then only eeking out wins while having to overcome their own mistakes.
3. Three of five O-Line starters are out, and yesterday one of the two remaining was playing hurt.
I had Wild Card dreams before the season started, but very quickly wrote this season off based upon O-Line deficiencies. You cannot have an offense with a second year starter at QB running for his life against good teams and your Hall of Fame RB getting hit in the backfield more often than not and expect success. With six games to go I'm expecting a record of 9-7, maybe 10-6 if they play over their heads for an extra game.
Going into the offseason they need to to fix that O-Line, not just with injured players getting healthy, they have to add quality depth. They need to say goodbye to Wallace and his lousy hands and big salary, speed is useless if you're unable to catch the ball. The need to find a quality starter at safety alongside the Hitman! Do all that, and stay relatively healthy and they're make the playoffs for sure next season, maybe even challenge for the division.
And don't take the cheese!

They're not cutting Peterson after the year he's had behind this weak ass line. If the original starting five on the line had played this season Peterson could have pushed for another 2000 yard season. That he's likely to end up near 1500 with the garbage blocking is equally as impressive IMO.

How has the oline been this bad going into the 3rd straight year? This has to be priority #1 if we capitalize on this window. I am sick of watching firesales every snap. Poor Teddy. All things considered I think the kid has held up really well.
