Not excited about it, but think it means we could be drafting a S early and not going after a FA.

Paul Allen is saying this is a 2 year 6-7M contract. Fairly cheap.

Damnit. Sendejo sucks. Why would they bring him back? All he does is get burned and go for big hits that take our players out of the game more than the other team's guys. There are a couple really good safeties that we should go after but probably won't now. I hate this always build through the draft while making small splashes in free agency. Our window is open now. We should go for it, not just wait until everybody needs to be paid.

Well this is interesting.

Weddle wants to be a Patriot. I hope him and Forte sign there. They are my favorite AFC team.

Keep in mind the Vikings signed Sanford to a similar contract and they didn't stop trying to find upgrades to that spot. Sendejo is probably worth close to 2 million a year just as a ST player and seems to be the type of guy you want to keep around.

Daily Norseman said the deal was 4 years 16 million. That's even worse.

How much is guarenteed money? I bet there isn't much of any after year 2.

That is what I was saying. Only 6-7M are guaranteed in the first 2 years. It is really a 2 year contract. I would be curious how much of a bonus he gets for playing time and starts.

2.5 guarenteed for Sendejo he will make 4 million this year.

It's surprising Blanton said he wanted to come back. I was a little surprised he was basically an afterthought this year at Safety not because I think he is good but because he wasn't too bad in the past. The author of this article REEEALLY likes Blanton. Lol It does have some interesting analysis though.
