Who do you think will end up the best pitcher 20 or under in the system?

I admit I might be a little prejudiced because I followed Gonsalves in high school, but I see him as a future star. As I wrote before, he and Kohl Stewart were considered equals before Gonsalves missed most of his senior year, and he is already off to a great start in the pros. My second choice is Stewart, and I see the two of them being a great right-left top of the rotation combination in about 4 years.

Berrios! Yeah, I think he's going to be a good one too.

Interesting, four votes and none for Stewart, who most scouts would probably project as the best.

I love Stewart and expect him to be very, very good. I want to see more of him and hope he refines his mechanics a bit before I put him over Berrios. That's just me, though.

Gonsalves made his Elizabethton debut tonight and was stellar again. Only 1 earned run in 5 innings, with 7 K's and no walks. It's way early, but he's everything I was hoping he could be when he was dominating SoCal high school batters two years ago. Definitely deserves his three votes above.

Cam, your boy Berrios had an even better outing this week ...only 2 hits and a walk with 7 K's in 7 1/3 innings.

Nice update, lst. Gonsalves sounds like the real deal. I couldn't find a whole lot on him video-wise so all I have are numbers to go off. He's got an interesting delivery, but he seems confident in it and all the stats back him up. Good eye man.

I did happen to see that Berrios had a stellar performance. Made me feel better about my vote! Lol

Not only does Gonsalves have huge talent, he's also pitching with a chip on his shoulder for getting drafted so late. He tweeted last night "making it known that everyone that passed me made a mistake".
