Gophers vs. Friars

This should be a tough test for the 14th rated Gophers as they face a Providence team that returns 5 starters from an NCAA tournament team. The Friars are favored by 2.

Providence is a guard-oriented team led by Kyron Cartwright who is such a talented PG that he pushed Kris Dunn to SG (one of the reasons I questioned Thibs' drafting Dunn as a PG). It will be interesting to see if we can contain their guards and punish them inside with our size and strength advantage. Should be fun to watch.

Looks like MN got off to a strong start.

Emphasis on the past tense, monster, because my Gophers are obviously taking lessons from the Wolves on how to give up double digit leads quickly!

Ugh...I'm hoping for a better showing for the Huskers tonight against North Texas.

I like the Huskers chances, monster...even though the Mean Green won their opener 122-65! I'm guessing they like to run a little...

I see the Gophers are down at half. The Friars as LST outlined are a plenty solid team. Hopefully the Gophers pull this one out.

Looks like it may be a good/close game the whole way for the Gophers Friars. I'm hoping this Husker game doesn't mirror that game they are off to a hot start 15-2. The stats right now are hilarious.

Ha, just looked at the box score...Huskers 7 for 6, Mean Green 1-7!

My Gophs suddenly up 9 too.

Jordan Murphy's game is unorthodox, but he has got to attract some draft interest. 35 and 15 in the opener, and now 23 and 12 with 4 minutes still left.

Yep I see Murphy is doing some work.

North Texas got their 3rd bucket to go over 10% from the floor again lol
