Antonio Brown time?

Could the Vikings sign him? Would you. I think I would take a chance, that is if he wanted to come here. Having another elite/dynamic WR even better than what we got could make the offense unstoppable.

We don't' have cap space. The team that would make sense for him is the Patriots. If he can prove he can live the Patriot way it would go a long way toward rebuilding his image.

What huge idiot!!! Someone was talking about him a few weeks ago. It was a former layer and he said he is showing all of the signs of not wanting to play football anymore. He might get his wish.

I was thinking we couldn't afford him. He is an egomaniacal dude for sure. I just wonder how much his "distractions" really matter. I would take him if we could make it happen, just for the chance. Bit I doubt he'd even want to play here. He probably wants a contender. Or potential contender. Dallas he might like. Be in the news constantly. IDK if he personally would fit with the Pats, he seems too egotistical to be on that team. He would have to humble himself too much. Can't see it working.

Dallas would be a good fit.

Pats had cap space and people said he was going there for days even weeks...he signs a deal with the Pats today. Lol

As for him coming here...I don't think it would have made sense. Sure having him as an elite WR for a 3rd WR assuming he would sign for nothing (he was never going to do that and I don't even blame him for that) I don't think he was gonna be happy playing as a 3rd or whatever guy with Diggs and Thielen. Wouldn't have been worth the hassle.

So he is going to the Pats. Probably so he can stick it to all the pundits, his old teammates in Pitt. Etc. Brady, who takes less than he should, essentially is a way of cheating. He should be the top 2-3 paid, but he doesn't want money., he wants to win, so he takes less to stack the deck. Thus they can sign more talent then others.

If Brown wants to go there to stick it too everyone else, it'll probably work. If he thinks he can get away with what he normally does, he'll be cut again, soon. We'll see. I'm sure he knows he can't screw around in NE.

Pfft, I don't like the guy but he's far superior to Diggs and Thielen. Had that happened, he would have been the number one option.

Even if that's true (I don't think so actually at least Thielen but I agree it's perfectly debate-able) he isn't going to be getting bunches and bunches of targets with those guys. 3rd WR? No obviously not but...seems like a problem to me. I just threw in my take on it obviously it was all theoretical anyway.

Did he too? What if he played for free? Or vet min? The salary cap was made to even the playing field, so when a couple players take less, yes it does not level the playing field. Call it cheating, whatever. We do know that the Pats got caught cheating deflating footballs, stealing coaches signs, etc also.

You can be OK with it but they don't play by the rules. Brady taking less money isn't against the rules, but it does help him win. So call it what you want.
