Welcome, bloop! It gets a little lonely over here with just cam, jester and me.
You're especially welcome if, like me, you recognize the greatness of Mike Pelfrey :D .
As Deduno comes in for Correia, I'm thinking it should be the other way around. Deduno has to be in the rotation by June.

What a nice walk-off this would be. Fought back in the ninth to tie it. By the way, hell of a slide from Kurt to tie it up. Just got those fingers in there.

Kubel's back. All he needed was a Twins uni again. :thumb:
4-5, HR today.

Had baseball practice of my own this morning, so got home just in time for the 9th inning...and what an inning. Suzuki hasn't hit much the past few years, but he has an understanding of the game that makes him better, and he showed it on that game-tieing slide. Now we have to finish it off in extra innings.

Classic Burton. Gives away the game on a HR.

Yeah, I mentioned in an earlier game thread that I'm worried about him. At the end of last year his slider seemed to have lost its bite, and he's even worse this spring. We need somebody else in the 8th inning role.
