I just turned on the all-star game, and noticed that the AL is the home team...but the game is being played in San Diego. Anybody have an explanation?

This is a bad baseball board. San Diego gets traded to the American League mid-season and nobody cares.

There is likely a simple explanation but I scrolled through Twitter without finding out because I simply don't really care.

I get it. The white uniforms are magic. So if a team that wears (to quote Keith Olbermann) "Dairy Queen Red" home uniforms, they would be at a disadvantage. Well, as Twins fans, we now know what happened.

And Kudos to Bud Selig for planning for this.
