I like Parmalee and Arcia, but they both needed to be sent down to figure out what they're doing wrong. Arcia especially was spiraling down quickly. He's only 21 and could be our left fielder for a long time, so this was a necessary move.
Can't help but be intrigued by Colabello...what a year he has been having at Rochester. I'm not expecting much from a 29-year-old career minor leaguer, but he clearly deserved another chance in the bigs. I'll be going to at least two of the games when the Twins come to Anaheim next week, so I'll be cheering him on.
Nice to see them finally win a series in the Bronx.

Agreed. Arcia for sure. He needs to be taken care of. Has anyone noticed that Hicks has a ton of power on the right side of the plate? Wow. Twins will have a talented, young outfield once Buxton makes it up down the line. Arcia/Buxton/Hicks OF means not a lot of balls are dropping in the gaps.
Colabello intrigues me a bit too, but I think he's a AAAA player. Good enough to rake in Trips, but can't really do much in the show.

Love Hicks from the right side. He has 4 homers each hitting right and left, but in less than 1/3 the AB's from the right side. He homers every 14 at bats hitting right...very impressive. If he can hit .250 with 20 HRs and play the kind of Gold Glove center field he has been playing, he will be around a long time.

Yep, ahead of everyone except Carlos Gonzalez who has 10. Just an incredible defensive year. In the Yankee series, he ran down a drive and dived for it in the gap, but couldn't hold on. It would have been another phenomenal catch, and it says a lot that I was actually surprised when I saw the ball on the ground. He gets to and catches almost everything!
