Pretty stupid that they gave up a year of service time, but nice to see him go 4-4 in a game. Lets congratulate him that he's had gotten over the Mendoza line and is now batting .205

thanks for the heads up on the web site. I'm a twins/vikes/twolves guy from mn now in ca so it's nice to chat it up with you guys. was hoping this site wasn't just for the wolves, although the espn forum of wolves fans was quite interesting.

No problem, hopefully more Twins guys make the switch. There so few of us anymore, but it was really nice for then to open up a thread for us.

The Twins discussion on ESPN was worthless, so hopefully we can get something going here. It's a lost season again, but they're loaded in the minors so the future is very bright.
Good to see Hicks get over the .200 mark last night. It's been such a pleasure to watch him in center field this year, I was worried that his hitting woes might force Gardy/Ryan to send him down. But I think he's here to stay now...at least until Buxton is ready to take over in center. If Arcia and our minor league outfield phenoms can make the grade, Hicks could be a valuable trade piece in a couple years.

Completely agree with you Longstrange, the thing that sucks if the twins would've kept Hicks down till after the all star break his service time control would be another year, but hey I guess those 13 games are worth a full year of having him. Kind of the same thing the Rays did with Longoria when he came up and got hurt.
