There are a ton of great young players out there-seems to be way more than usual. The position players are holding up really well-there are going to be some new superstars in this league in a hurry. We are also seeing a TON of great pitching from rookies this year-not only from hyped up guys but also from your Lockes, Archers, Corbins, ect. Starting in a month or so, the majority of them will be reaching their innings limits and will be shut down. I hated when Strasburg was shut down and I think they were a world series contender with him. I know his was injury related, but innings limits seem to be pretty strict these days for whatever reason they are put in place. How do you guys think this is going to affect the playoff run? You have guys like Archer and Miller on contending teams. Locke AND Cole for the Pirates. Also, keep in mind even bad teams can play spoilers, and with their aces (AKA Harvey) getting shut down, they will be less likely to play that spoiler role.
