Re: Tank Status Tracking

<t>I think it would be unfortunate to have traded a guy we knew couldn't or wouldn't turn into a really worthwhile player in Wiggins, and turn around and fall for the same trap in Gordon.<br/> <br/> I can't say for sure if Gordon is that player or not. Orlando's roster construction choices his entir...

Re: GDT: Welcome to South Beach

As far as defense goes I think Quincy Lewis said it best during the post game.

You're not going to play great defense all game and hold teams to 85 points. Defense is timely in this league. If 3 minutes is all that matters and we win... okay fine. I'll take it over losing.

Re: GDT: Welcome to South Beach

His dribble penetration and vision out of those drives, combined with players that actually move and slash, is a great asset. He's a perfect fit for the backup role and a nice change of pace guard.

He also works well in tandem with Russell in those small sets.

This was my favorite play of the game. Especially on the heels of a total whoopsy defensive breakdown the set prior.

Maybe Glen is holding out for Wally Szczerbiak to agree to do the induction speech.

<t>If anything, losing more, even intentionally, makes every asset you have more appealing to another team. It's a lot more palatable to a team like Phoenix or Washington to give up an asset if you have a top-3 pick to trade than a top-7 to 10. There is absolutely something psychologically significa...

<t>He's a more athletic/talented, worse at defending/rebounding Jeff Green. You could maybe make the argument the only cause for statistical differences in their career (PPG mostly) is due to usage rate. People fell into the same trap with Jeff Green as they are Wiggins... "if only he were in s...

Re: Clips@Wolves - A New Era Begins!

The reality is all these guys feel like throwaways from their respective former teams and they're playing with a big F-U chip.

Re: What do you want to see done with this year's lottery pick?

I'd be good with Obi Toppin and Nesmith. If Nesmith isn't there I'd look at someone like Isaiah Stewart or Jalen Smith.
