Re: Around the league offseason

I've never been high on acquiring Colin Sexton. I'm always wary of players on bad teams who put up good numbers.

Interesting they had to attach a 2nd RP to pretty much trade him off the team for Nurcic.

Re: Randle is back!

You could look at this way. Would you prefer Julius and Naz at 55 mil (combined) next season or Kat at 53 mil?

Re: Randle is back!

Not a bad contract by the sounds of it for a player of Randle's caliber. I will always question his fit, but bang for buck it seems reasonable.

Any one know how its structured? Player option last year?

Re: Second Round: Official Draft Day Thread

The Wolves trade pick No. 31 for pick No. 36, a '26 2nd (lesser of DEN/GSW) and a '32 2nd (better of PHX/HOU), per source. Good value!!! The 32 looks to likely end up being a nice trade chip for nearly nothing. 2032 is awfully far out. The 2026 2nd seems weak. Surprised we couldn’t’ get a better de...

Re: Wolves Non-Durant Trade Ideas

Simple trade which gives us cap flexibility for 2026 off season and returning picks: Minnesota receives: Tobias Harris (27 mil expiring), 1st RP (2027 Top 10 protected), two 2nd RPs (2027 & 2028). Detroit receives: Julius Randle We would likely take a step backwards next season, but two steps fo...

Re: So What's Your Plan? The Offseason Roster Construction Thread

Another guy I am interest in and is available via trade is Cam Johnson at Brooklyn. On a 20 mil contract this season, 22 mil the following. He is a 40% 3 point shooter, but what stands out is his 47% shooting from the right hand corner. The corner 3 is generally always an open shot with Finch's offe...

Re: So What's Your Plan? The Offseason Roster Construction Thread

My preferred and somewhat realistic acquisition is Derrick White from Boston. He is the near perfect fit for this team and gives Ant a legit backcourt partner who doesn't require high usage to be effective. He is one of the best guard defenders in the league and decent career 3pt shooter. His contra...

Re: Judgement Day - Wolves at Thunder Game 5 GDT

First off hat tip to OKC. They play hard and have great chemistry. Yes they get away with alot of fouling, but they have built the identity of being a hard nose team which helps them get away with it. Now to the Wolves. Terrible performance especially the first two quarters. But I didn't even expect...

Re: More Home Cooking - Thunder at Wolves Game 4 GDT

Teams entered today 0-190 all-time in the playoffs when having fewer rebounds, fewer assists, fewer free-throw attempts, a lower FG%, lower 3P% & lower FT% in a game than their opponent. The Thunder just made that 1-190 Wow crazy stat. Just goes to show the effect our turnovers had on the resul...
