I won't be surprised if Buzton struggles some this year but that's ok it feels like the lineup can live with that. It will be interesting how some things shake out who disappoints and who ends up with an opportunity because of a guy not getting it done or injury.

Dozier might be my favorite Twin, monster...with Hunter gone, he becomes the de facto leader of this team. But he hit .236 last year with only a .307 OBP, and he's never hit higher than .244. The premise of my lineup is that every player hits to his full potential, and although Dozier has some pop, which one of the 6 guys I have batting ahead of him has less potential than Dozier? I'd love to see our young guys hit to their potential, and if they do, I think this lineup will be very potent with Brian in the 7 hole.

You didn't have to elaborate. That's a lot of guys really hitting bjt that would be fine with me obviously. Lol I get what you are saying. Let's hope that happens. This team does have a chance to be a pretty good hitting lineup from top to bottom especially with some guys with some speed. If Santana can hit that would be really something.

LST the twins ever come out and say if dozier was playing hurt the second half of last year? I can't find anything but I swear I was told he had a hip problem nagging him the second part of last year.

Yeah, he had a hip issue that was bothering him the last half. I don't know how serious it was though because he didn't need surgery. I still think his second half slump had more to do with the approach oppeising pitchers were taking with him...fewer high inside fastballs and much more breaking stuff.

When do we consider swapping Dozier out of the lead off spot? Personally Escobar hitting as well as he has while picking up a good amount of extra base hits is my vote.

Well whatever they are doing isnt working now. I didn't pay the money to watch games and the Twins haven't exactly made a great case for me to do that. I'm not panicking on the entire season but 0-9 isn't the start I was hoping for.
