2018 around the league

Post by Monster »

Nate Gerry started at LB for the Eagles last night and split snaps at the position. He was a guy a couple of us were a fan of so I thought I would mention it.

I think following thegame last night on twitter (not on purpose) might have had more entertainment value than actually watching the condensed game this morning. Lol

Bunch of trades today including guys like Golden Tate and Ty M. Leaving the division. The Packers moved Ty Montgomery for a 2020 7th round pick. That's like saying yeah you can have him but you totally owe our whole office sandwiches in like 2 years!!! Lol

Packers trade Haha Clinton-Dix...what is that all about? I mean it's good to get a good player out of the division but I don't get it.

Tate for a 3rd round pick at least seems about right. It sounds like neither Ha Ha or the Packers we're happy with each other so...whatever I guess still he is a pretty good safety and Washington got him for a 4th round pick. Even if it's for 8 games that could still be worth it. It's the NFL you never know what team can get hot etc.

The moves smell like they are giving up on this year. I can see that based on how hot the Saints and Rams have been, but they still could win the division. I just don't see how these moves move the needle in the future and certainly don't see them helping them this season.

Sam Bradford releases by the Cardinals. Makes sense no reason for them to play him andhave to pay him more money. Wonder if there will be a team that will sign him...I think the Bills were calling Jeff George the other day. Lol

If Jacksonville isn't on the phone scheduling a tryout they're even dumber than the Wolves front office! I don't know if Sam has any NFL QBing left in those knees, but if he has any he has more than Bortles! Jacksonville, much like the Vikings thought they had a Super Bowl ready team, but Bortles isn't the guy to get them there. If the Vikings aren't going to win it all I'd love to see Sam do so!

I hadn't thought about the Jags. Denver could get another ex-Viking QB. Giants backup got arrested this week and Shurmer is there. Plenty of options for a guy that already got paid almost 16 million. Lol
