Browns fire GM

Post by bleedspeed »

I am surprised with this. I don't see Hugh back next year unless the GM wants a longer leash with this job by being able to say he was not the right coach.

The Browns should just fire the franchise. Someone needs to explain to me how before the original Browns team moved to Baltimore they were always terrible. Now a new franchise that shares only the name and uniforms manages to be just as terrible. We're all shocked at just how long the Wolves have managed to be terrible and they haven't (yet) reached 1.5 decades and are the same franchise.

I actually remember watching when the Browns were somewhat mediocre. Bernie Kosar era. They were in the playoffs! lol

But now, why would anyone even go to a game? You couldn't pay me to watch a team after it's lost 30 in a row.

I am gonna apply for the job and if I get it Bleed is gonna be my head of scouting. We are just gonna draft a QB with every pick to assure ourselves of getting an above average one and therefore be gods in Cleveland.

Monster - I like it. I think it is a great job. Expectations are super low. Lots of cap space. Lots of young developing talent. Tons of draft picks. All you need to do is change the culture. Row the Boat. :-)

They are questioning if they followed the "Rooney Rule" and interviewed a Black person. I hope then also Interviewed an Asian person, Middle Eastern and a Native American as well.

So stupid they assume everyone is racist. Another reason I hate the way sports has gone, is they politicized everything. Same thing with the DoD paying a Billion dollars to do National Anthem shows before the game.

My guess that is one reason 40% of the people are not watching football anymore.

I get where you are coming from but...those other groups aren't exactly highly represented like Black people are in the league. Do they still need that rule? Idk I wish they didn't. Let's say 20% of the league is racist would the rule still have some value? I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt so I'm honestly a bit on the fence about it.

FYI Please consider not using the words retard or retarded in the future. Individuals with disabilities find the R-word offensive.

Oh yeah, I wasn't thinking.

I just get annoyed when I don't want to hear about politics they infect ESPN and sports with it all the time. To make it fair shouldn't they have a Asian rule and every other "race" rule too?

I'll edit my post above.

Nope, you need to edit your post again...now it's discriminatory against stupid people like me who think being favored in 8 out of 9 games means we should go 8-1 :).
