I mean this is what he does. 7-9/8-8 is just what he does. The most Kirk Cousins thing ever is to take a Super Bowl contender and go 8-8. Spielman just doesn't know QB's.

Those were the same excuses for him in Washington. He's clearly not good enough to overcome that and thus $84 million is a joke of a contract for a guy who can't succeed without perfection around him.

He's overpaid for sure, but that's what happens when you cannot draft and develop your own franchise QB. The play calling is absolute garbage, if Flip isn't fired tomorrow then Zim should be.

Play calling is horrible. We never have rhythm on offense. We had a few plays where Cousins had plenty of time and did nothing. For me it will be going back and seeing what we missed on those plays, but no matter what if you can't play in a rhythm it is tough to make plays.

Cousins didn't make plays plain and simple but I do think there is something off besides the poor line play. Offeneive coordinators make a big difference. I don't know if John D is the right guy for what this team needs. If this O line had one improved lineman on it than what it has it would be pretty big. Meanwhile Keenum isn't doing too hot over in Denver either. I still believe in Cousins.

Overall a pretty good performance for the defense all things considered. They still have some things to tighten up if this team wants to make a run but they absolutely did their job and did it starting an undrafted rookie FA. Hilton Hill was a steal.

They fired Flip! If the new OC can pull their heads out of their asses they should 2-1 or better to finish the season and that should get them a playoff spot. The Bears will likely be resting players week 17 as their playoff position will surely be locked in by then.

Who knows, I'm just glad they fired Flip, what kind of bum do you have to be to make Shurmer look good?

I just want someone who's gonna get the play in right away and help the offense get to the line with the opportunity to adjust to the defense. It seems like half our plays are barely getting off before a delay of game let alone giving the offense time to adjust to the defenses look on the field. A delay of game on the second play of the game is a joke. Get the play in and get lined up.
