Looks like basically at least half the league is also. They would have to send out a player to fit him under the cap etc. PFF grade of Ramsey through 2 games is bad In the 40's (worse than both Waynes and Rhodes) I wouldn't give more than a 5th rounder! Lol jk jk

I wonder if what Ramsey is asking for contract wise is scaring teams away. I think he would have been traded by now. His value will just go down the longer they hold him. They can keep him, and franchise him too, but then he can cause problems and sit out. I think they would be wise to move him now, by now I mean this week.

I loved Ramsey coming out. Great player, but lasst8 months he has become unhinged. I wouldn't want him. He seems like the second coming of AB.

I'm not going that far. You have to look at his side. He wants a contract extension. The Jags are not giving it to him. The pother top 5 picks in that draft have gotten extensions (Goff, Wentz, Bosa, Elliot). So what can he do? He can hold out Like Elliot or make them want to trade him. Or he can sit there play out his rookie deal and get franchised two times. That's a lot of risk for major injury which could cost him tens of millions.

His play in 2018 didn't help. It also didn't help that the team was not winning. The guys that got extensions play for winners.
CB JALEN RAMSEY, JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS
A year after Ramsey firmly put himself in the conversation for best cornerback in the NFL, Ramsey inexplicably took a sizable step backward in year three. He had fewer picks (3), pass breakups (9), allowed more yards (749), allowed a higher completion percentage (54.6) and allowed a higher passer rating (73.8). Those are still pretty darn good numbers though, and I'm not expecting it to be too long before Ramsey is back to his 91.3 overall grade level from 2017 once again.
