It can't hurt, but I am more for the younger guys typically. I wonder if Roc Thomas was not showing something and they made the change.

I get what oh are saying about the youth but Ameer is 2 years older than Roc Thomas At 25 so it's not like we added a guy that's a lot older. I think the fact that he is an experienced KR is a factor and he returned punts at Nebraska his first 2 years as well. I read through his draft profile again. He had extremely high marks for chararher and football IQ. He was the opposite of Roc Thomas. He was a 3 star guy and wasn't even recruited as a RB by a lot of teams. I remember him his freshman year flashing when he had the ball. I think if healthy Ameer is likely simply an upgrade over Roc and I do like Roc quite a bit. I don't know if that means anything was wrong with Roc. One draft profile said Ameer didn't drop a pass his last 2 years in college. I'm biased towards Ameer but his negatives are health and fumbles. He is a guy that can do a bunch of stuff. 42.5 verticle and 130 broad jump. The 40 time wasn't amazing but he is pretty good athlete.
In addition there is probably some chance of Roc making it through waivers and back to the PS. I won't be surprised if he is claimed but it's not a certainty.

I don't see anyone picking up Roc. So he likely will be on the PS. I like that Ameer is a good character guy. When you are not a stud player it is hard to justify keeping a guy with character issues.

God forbid this team show up on a nationally televised game against a division rival for first place in the division.

Cousins can find his own way home after this one. Bullshit game from him after a bye week.

Bears thoughts for me. I will give the defense an A for this game. They really put the clamps on them in the second half and spent most of the game on the field and got turnovers. I will give the offense a D. They couldn't do anything until they went to no-huddle and Bears went to the prevent. The play calling never put us in a good position knowing that the OLINE was not able to block in this one.

Season after season the biggest downfall of the Vikes is the OLine. Nothing different in this game, however you must credit the Bears a bit as well. Their defense is excellent.

I was thinking maybe the Wild could bail us out, but nope. What a disaster.
Re: Vikings 2018 Regular Season Game Thread
There were 3 throws from Cousins that could have turned the game in a positive way. That missed TD to Diggs and then the picks. Even 1 of those being a positive might have been enough to win the game. Not a good game for Kirk in this one and that's putting it pretty nicely. Having said that he pretty much had to win this game though because the Oline...22 rushing yards and how many of those came after the first 2 drives?
Trubisky did some good things hopefully the defense is ready for his ability to make plays with his legs the next time they play him. They didn't seem like they were ready at all for that.
I watched most of the game earlier this morning so I am mellowing a bit but it was disgusting...and then i just finished watching the Wolves game... yay!
