Re: NFL 2017 - Draft Edition
He looked great! Like you said if he doesn't play another game he would be considered a soild 3rd round pick. He is a testament that 40s are not everything. It will e interesting to see if he can stay healthy.

Re: NFL 2017 - Draft Edition
Coming back to this thread Desmond King has been best rookie for Chargers and is playing slot CB.
Desmond King, CB, fifth round: The Iowa product has been the Chargers' most productive rookie this season while playing 326 defensive snaps, mostly as the Chargers' slot defender. King has 27 combined tackles, a sack and two pass breakups. "Where he's come along is he's a pretty good open-field tackler," Chargers defensive coordinator Gus Bradley said. "And that constantly shows up, too, where he's around the ball and he has his opportunity, and he does a pretty good job. We've just got to keep pushing him. He's got a lot to learn in a short period of time." Grade: Above average.

I should take some time and go back to the players I liked and see how they are doing. A lot of this is where they land at this point. I am disappointed in Jaleel Johnson. I thought he would come in and start.

He isn't playing much but he is playing behind some vet players in johnson Shamar and Robison. The defense has been pretty good and a lot of what guys are asked to do is be pretty discipled. I was hoping he would have gotten into the rotation more by now but that line is pretty talented even if a couple DT aren't world beaters.

Re: NFL 2017 - Draft Edition
Sorting through it.
3 impact players
5 others made 53 roster, but had no impact
2 practice squad players
2 complete whiffs
As for grading myself. I would say "C+" or "B-"
Desmond King turned out
Jaleel Johnson has not yet.
