Not defending Mixon, but he was 18 years old entering a program and has spend basically the last 3 years dealing with it and apologized and settled. Cabel Brantley is 22 years old and been part of a program for 4 years. He should have developed the ability to handle himself in these situations and to do something like this a month before the draft shows he likely will never get it.

Interesting prospect. I also find it interesting these breakdowns sometimes they say player X need to be able to do this and that because of their size or lack of strength or whatever. It makes it sound like not only do they have a possible physical limitation but they have another issue which I am not sure at times is actually the case.

I went and watched a little of his tape. He lined up everywhere on the front line for them. Got double teamed a lot and held up good at the point of attack so I don't get the phyiscal limitations. He did get turned at times, but didn't get blown out of his spot. He doesn't get up the field and seems to lack the burst to do so. Not being overly tall, but having long arms is a good combo. Doesn't show the burst off the ball to get to the QB. For a guy that has long arms and benched 225lbs 29 times he seems like a guy that could develop his hands to chuck blockers. Dylan Bradley plays more like what we need.

That guy just has the burst and motor.

Another review on him. He has spent time with the Vikings so he is surely on their radar and I would expect that with PA talking him up.

Ledbetter is kinda intruiging. He just looks strong and pretty athletic for a DT even undersized. He seems like a guy that's zimmer would have fun doing stuff with. Maybe he could become the replacement to Tom Johnson in time. I'm not sure how common it is for a DT prospect to be able to do a backflip but he can do it as this video points out.

That is crazy. He has raw skills for sure. I was looking for him to explode up field when watching tape and wondered if he was coached to stay back. Those long arms and strength should help him disengage from guards and centers. I really don't worry about the weight since he looks like he is not carrying any bad weight right now.

I still really like Jaleel Johnson for us in the 3rd or 4th round and one of these projects it 6th or 7th. Hard part is I want a guy that can get to the QB, but we also need a guy that just plugs things up too as short yardage guy next to Linval and backup to him.

I know Ledbetter wearing #55 is part of it be he sorta reminds me of a hulked up thumper middle linebacker that sifts through things and does their job. That's sort of a compliment and it might mean he has a bit more explosiveness. 4.85 or whatever in the 40 isn't crazy fast but that's not slow. Dude just looks like a beast in that video.

I haven't looked at tape or whatever but it seems people kinda consider Shamar to be the solid safe guy so maybe they need a more dynamic guy but Jones could be a piece of that idk.

Since the Vikings don't pick till the middle of the 2nd round it's hard to really keep up with some of the draft because especially after the 1st round the prospects get pretty daunting. I basically have no clue about the first round and the top of the 2nd. Bleed do you have any thoughts on the first round?

It seems like it's a pretty poor QB draft. I do think Deshaun Watson if he isnt overdrafted could be a nice pick but I don't know how high I would take him.
