It was a good read. I still think the Wolves entire few months following Flip's passing has been u serrated how much that effected the entire organization. Judd does a nice job of bringing up some things I had not thought about.
Side note: I'm glad the last year or so I have heard Judd (and Souhan the last couple) on the radio or podcasts. I get them as writers much more now. They were not my favorite in the past. I get their perspective now much more.
I think the guy it impacts the most is Zimmer. I know he has been through it with his wife, but still kicks your butt. Players might be more used to position coaches coming and going in their careers and be able to move on, but now you have a guy coming in that Zimmer will ahve to vet. He obviously trusted Tony.
I just watched the media availability of Spielman and Zimmer. I was a little surprised how emotional Rick got. He was clearly struggling at times up there. Zimmer was emotional but that was more expected.
Vikings Update has a story on him. Its for subscribers (so I haven't read it) but it seems he is at least healthy which I wasn't sure would be the case at this point.

All the video I have seen he looks completely healthy and plenty good. Having a healthy Cook and Murray from the jump would be pretty big espcially if Cook is more ready than he was as a rookie last year. Looking forward to seeing that and who wins the other RB spot.
Vikings update via 24/7 sports is doing promotion where you pay $10 and get 4 months free. That takes you through all of 2018. I went ahead and spent the money I figured it was worth it. There have been a few articles above wanted to read that they have had. I think it's lilely worth it.
"Vikings' G Nick Easton underwent surgery this morning to correct a herniated disc in his neck and his season is likely over, per his agent Joe Linta. But it is not expected to be a career-ending injury."
