Crazy! I will miss the first round tonight.
I did try the fanspeak simulator with Matt Miller board. It is interesting how different the draft goes vs TDN simulator.
Pick 18 LT Andre Dillard - Washington State
Jonah Williams is gone. We grab the best LT available.
Pick 50 TE Dawson Knox - Ole Miss
He was top ranked guy on the board. Looking at this board no TE's will be around in round 4 so I strike now.
Pick 81 CB/FS Darnell Savage - Maryland
It would be crazy for him to be here. I have seen him in the 1st in some draft mocks.
Pick 120 WR Andy Isabellla UMass
Slot WR that would be a game changer for us. Fast and shifty
Pick 190 DT John Cominsky Charleston
He is a DT on this board. Looks a little like Keith Millard
Pick 209 G Hjatle Froholdt Arkansas
Great value at end of 6th round. Can develop into a starter.
Pick 247 FS/SS Khari Willis Michigan State
He was gone in 4th with TDN so him being here in 7th is a surprise
Pcik250 DE Maxx Crosby Eastern Michigan
He is a speed edge that fits the mold of players we would develop.
This draft had plug in OL starters failing into 3rd round. I hope the draft goes like this simulator.

Chris Lindstrom would be a great fit here. He could play LG or RT here.
Re: 2019 NFL DRAFT
Watching the ABC coverage. Lee Corso is like the crazy old uncle that shows up at the holidays and starts rambling about things. He has been somewhat entertaining though.
Re: 2019 NFL DRAFT
Oakland with the first curveball, that may help offensive lineman slip down...
Re: 2019 NFL DRAFT
I'm not exactly captivated but it started getting interested after the first pick got in. Like Tim said Raiders threw a curveball and the Giants picked Daniel Jones...who I knew was a QB but that's about it.
Re: 2019 NFL DRAFT
Bradbury it is. I honestly liked him the most of the guys available but I did VERY little homework. Wasn't Taylor supposed to be gone before our pick?

Taylor is more of Mauler the Vikings are going Zone blocking scheme hence the pick of Bradbury. Bradbury is very athletic center with incredible reach for a center. This is almost a two for one as well now Elf can move to guard now as well.

Thanks for the info. You laid out why I wanted Bradbury actually. Zimmer was saying Patterson was watching tape on D-lineman and was like "who is that center for NC state he is a really good player". If Patterson liked him I'm all in.

Re: 2019 NFL DRAFT
Good pick for Vikings. I think Center is the second most important position across the offensive line behind Left Tackle. Bradbury was the best center in the draft and could be the best center in the last 3 years. He fits the system perfectly. It is crazy how much much stronger and athletic he is then Elfein. It will be a big upgrade.
Elfein might not fit this system well. He is just is not that strong, mobile, or explosive. He looks like a better RG then LG to me. If we draft another interior lineman before the end of the 4th round I have a feeling he might not start. I really wonder where they feel Brian O'Neill's best position is. Look at the draft profiles below. You will see one guy is not like the others and that guy is Elfein.

Re: 2019 NFL DRAFT
If your gonna pay him u better protect him and give him weapons. An athletic TE doesn't hurt.
