The Twins continue to have the most exciting prospects in all of baseball with an astounding 5 prospects in the top 32...Buxton (1), Sano (8), Berrios (27), Stewart (30) and Meyer (32).
Berrios has been phenomenal this year, so it's good to see him ranked so highly. Buxton and Sano haven't played (although Buxton did get back in the lineup yesterday, and made a highlight reel catch), but Byron is still #1 and Sano hasn't dropped much. I'm surprised, but pleased, to see Meyer so high, because he has been erratic recently. I expect to see him shut down as we get into September (i.e. no callup).
Now, let's watch for Gordon to shoot up this list.

Berrios :thumb:
9-3, 1.96 ERA, 1 SHO, 96.1 IP, 109 SOs (10.2 SO9), 23 BBs (2.1 BB9)
That's a bad, bad man right there. Filthy.

I wouldn't want to step in the box against him. He has his velocity back that he lost late last season and knee buckling breaking stuff. He was young at 20 to be successful in A ball, and now with his promotion to Cedar Rapids, he has to be by far the youngest pitcher in AA. Thorpe and Stewart are also young for their levels, so it's good to see the Twins being a little more aggressive with their prospects.

I'm going to the futures game and I'm super excited to Berrios pitch, tbh it's what I'm looking forward to most during all star week.
