MIN @ KC

Damn you Nolasco. A shitty outing after a really good start. I hoped he'd run off a stretch of really good starts before getting blown up.

VARGAS is shutting our lineup down. VARGAS. I don't know if you read that correctly. VARGAS.

No shame in that, cam. Vargas has never really had a bad season, and this year nobody is hitting him...just 4 runs total in 4 starts. I don't remember his changeup ever being as sharp as it was last night...Santana like. Plus Gardy decided to help him out by starting all righties except Mauer, even though a quick look at Vargas' splits would have told him Vargas is tougher on righties. I honestly don't think Gardy ever looks at stuff like that...really frustrating. At least he's using the defensive shift this season, and it's been effective.

Hughes looks good. Hope he keeps this up for another inning or two.

I just got back from my game, so I haven't seen any of the game but I like Hughes line through 6. Does he have his curve ball working today? He needs that pitch.

Yes, he was on all day got some help in the 5th by dozier turning a sweet double play. Idk what happened in the 7th tbh I fell asleep.
