Remember him? I don't blame you if you don't, because our 2010 1st rounder has only pitched 70 innings in our organization due to two elbow surgeries. But when he came out of Ohio State, some said he had the best college changeup they had ever seen.
Well, he may be back. Reports are that he is throwing very well this spring, and his first two outings this year at Ft. Myers have been stellar. Last night he only allowed one base runner in 6 innings (a double) and had 6 K's, and he's 2-0 with a 0.93 ERA on the year.
It's early, but he may be another guy to add to the future starter watch list. It's gotta happen soon because he's already 25.

They call it A+, or advanced minors...not where he wants to be at 25, but necessary because he just hasn't pitched much.

LST if I remember right he's the ohio state kid who knocked the gophers off for a big ten title and has a Johan Santana like change up?

That's the guy, jester...his change up would just disappear. I wonder if he still has it.
