We're now over two hours after projected first pitch, and Pelfrey still hasn't given up a hit. I had high expectations for him, but he's even exceeding those!

Oh, I know that jester. Getting a great year from our 4th starter would really help this club. It's good to see him working quicker in his first outing this year since it's something he said he was going to work on. Now let's see if he can keep up the pace when he gets runners on, cuz that's when he tended to really slow down last year. I love to see him work inside...Cleveland announcers pointed it out.

I'm starting to get mildly excited about Colabello...outstanding opposite field power.

Arcia looks really stupid with a facemask on when it's 53 degrees.

Guys... I really like Colabello and Kurt's approach at the plate. Haven't seen a bad AB yet.

Fucking Vavra I wish I could murder him so he would never coach again. I actually played with his nephew in college and complete douchebag Edina cake eater too.

So Vavra sends Suzuki home on the single to left by Dozier and Kurt's out by a mile. Why end the inning with Mauer on deck? Dumb.

That's Vavra's second dumb decision of the year. Had one like that in the last series. I understand making the outfielder throw you out, but with less than desirable speed, play it safe and stay on third.
