is still one of the greatest sports moments. Wish I could have seen it last night.

I was at the game LST and it was quite the moment. I knew it was gone off the bat. Good for Chris former first round pick on his last chance at the big leagues for this team. I guess he was killing the ball in Triple A I hope he can keep it up.

Yeah, I hope so too, jester. It was nice to see him get the game winner, and great you were able to see it live. I'm going to catch a lot of live Twins action in the next week and a half with series in San Diego and San Francisco. I haven't been to either park before and I'm excited to see this club live.

I've been to San Fran about 5 years ago it's a beautiful park. 5 years ago my Dad and I went to Seattle then took a covetable and drove to LA and then Oakland. Man Oakland is a dump but San Fran was nice lol. You'll have to tell me how San Diego is.

Soooo happy for Hicksy to get this walkoff today. Hopefully this gets him going. Not looking good for his future with this club if his hitting, or lack of, continues.

There's nobody that needed a walk off winner more than Hicksy. And watching his face on the replay was priceless...he didn't hit it very well, but he knew it was a hit right away.
But I have to admit I was astonished to hear Hicksy comes to the park some days not knowing who the opposing pitcher is. That's shocking, and absolutely inexcusable. He's a professional and needs to act like it, and that includes mental preparation. I just play amateur baseball, but the night before a game I'm looking at my notes about what tomorrow's pitcher has thrown me in the past, how his ball moves, any tendencies he has, etc. And on the way to the ballpark I'm visualizing how my at bats will go. I just assumed all major league hitters did the same. Maybe this is good news. Maybe there's some upside for Hicksy if he learns to prepare.

I'm the same way, but Hicksy is slowly playing his way to the Gomez 4th outfielder option. Hope he figures it out here before we trade him. Kind of makes you think back a couple years ago when the twins could've made a run and traded for cliff lee. If I remember the trade was Ramos and Hicks for cliff lee and we didn't pull the trigger.
