He's hurting us. I'm guessing Gardy chewed him out on the Zuke blunder, and he was gun shy. But for crissakes, man up and make the right call.

Umpire blew the strike three call on Pelf's 2 seamer, and tribe gets its first baserunner. On the positive side, Pelf hasn't slowed down much with a runner on base.

Way to battle back and win the series. 3-3 overall record. .500 ball is what I hope for this year. Nolasco needs to be better. I'm not happy with his first two starts. I am excited about our offense, though! Scoring outputs: 3, 6, 10, 2, 7, 10. Two semi-stinkers, but otherwise pretty damn potent. Colabello's on pace for 297 RBIs. Plouffe's on pace to break DiMaggio's hit streak. Oh happy day!

I'm very pleased with a 3-3 start to the season on the road. You're right, cam, that Nolasco needs to pitch better...and I have no doubt that he will. I've always liked him, but he really seemed like he had figured it out when he came out to LA for the end of last season. Give him a little warmer weather and pitcher-friendly Target Field, and he'll be just fine.
