Yeah yeah. Lol I remember Jester and I laying out the stats for his ERA and HRs allowed in Yankee stadium and away. That was before we signed him, though. Already has one to De Aza. Ball just jumps off his bat doesn't it? Yeesh!

There was a lot of sarcasm in my comment, mainly due to my frustration of losing the first two games and being down in the third. But I actually am optimistic about Hughes for the reason you and jester cited. He's got a nice looking curve ball too. I think he'll be fine.

Good thing we have our ace going tomorrow in Cleveland :) .

Escobar demonstrating what I think may be an important part of our offense this year...getting to first on the passed ball after the strike out.

Mauer's the reason I became a Twins fan. This slump is killing me.

Notice our guys take a bunch of meaty pitches early in the count just so they can work the count. Always have. Twins way of coaching. I hate it.

As a player I was never scared to let it fly on first pitch or first good one I saw.

He's killing us...lots of opportunities to drive in runs this year, but nothing yet.
