No trade up to the 2nd round. If you want the Vikings to take a QB I think this bodes well for that with them still having four 3rd round picks.

Kellen Mond- Saw him a couple games including against Alabama. I wasn't impressed with him in his decision making or accuracy. Backup.

He needs a couple seasons to develop so hopefully he can work on his game and be much better then what I saw in college. Hope I'm wrong on this one.

I think I like him the most out of those 3 guys that were taken at the top of the 3rd round. Keep in mind he wasn't throwing to future draft picks. I also like he has played a lot. The Vikings were right to take their guy with that first 3rd rounder as it seems highly likely he would have been gone. Sorry they didn't pick Trask.

So the Vikings return for 14 and 143 is Darrishaw, Mond and Wyatt Davis. That's looking pretty good.

If you look at it that way, it's a free pick basically. So they bank that he can improve his passing game with a couple years behind Cousins and then maybe take over the starting role. So I like it in that sense it isn't costing us anything. Yeah obviously I'd rather have Trask who was picked a couple before as he already is a top shelf passer but lacks the mobility that Mond has. Mond has higher potential with his athletic mobility.

Seems like the Wyatt Davis pick is a good one. The guy looks to have really good power and won't get pushed back like we struggled with quite a bit on the inside.

Zimmer wanted to get bigger on the oline. I'd say mission accomplished.

So far this draft has been pretty good. They even got a LB that can play QB. Lol

Zach Davidson the super athletic punter/TE makes this draft a winner for me. The Vikings have some guys with really interesting stories this year.

We got a QB that can play LB and Punter that can play TE. You have to love that.

This draft will be all about Mond and Darrisaw in the end.

Chris Simms take.

I like Smith Marsettes think he could surprise.

I think Wyatt Dani's could be a piece of this draft too as well as one of the pass rushers.

I liked Smith-Marsette also. He used to be a water polo player. I also found he was arrested for a DUI last November.

I bet Twyman has shot arms with that bench press number...but it's still impressive regardless. The Vikings actually said he got too big they want him to get back down to his 2019 weight.

Are there any UDFA that you are excited about? It's fun seeing more kids of formers players just because.
