Buxton can't stay healthy that dude should become a vegetarian!!!
Sorry I couldn't help but go back and leave a comment. :) I've been a vegetarian my whole life and have eaten meat only a handful of times. I'm as healthy (or to be honest as unhealthy) has someone that eats meat. There are a lot of diet choices that can be good or bad depending on the person as everyone's body is different. I've been very fortunate to not have any major injuries in my life. I attribute that to luck and just the makeup of my body not a specific diet that I have or don't have. Trust me I've seen people get judged for eating meat and it's mostly ridiculous.
I have to agree, Monster. I love meat and so I can't do the veggy thing, but I do try to be smart about it. I was vegan for almost two years ago about a decade ago, and I have to admit I have never felt better or performed better in sports. Wish I wasn't such a carnivore!
Interesting that Berrios said he didn't even know he had a no hitter going when Rocco pulled him. Can that be? He may be lying to protect his manager or he may have been so locked in he really didn't know...either one is good. But suffice it to say it doesn't sound like he was too upset with Rocco.
Hell of an effort from Pineda to get through five innings today surrendering only one run allowed. Kudos to Rocco for leaving him in the game in the fifth to get through a bases loaded jam. Now the bullpen gets to go to work. Good game here on this Easter Sunday. Hope those of you that see this are enjoying the weekend and the beginning of the baseball season.
Here come those Twins bats with a crooked number in the sixth. Four runs scored so far off a timely Kepler two-run single and a two-run homer from Sano. Good guys up 6-1 at the time of this comment. Let's go!

Thanks for recap Cam. Watching Kong vs Zilla with the family. So I won't be watching this one. Did they say why Buxton left the game. I'm hoping it's just a migraine. I know he struggles with those.

Non-COVID related illness was the reason that I heard. Shouldn't be anything too serious.

Man, that's a relief. I have a family party going too, but I was worried when I checked the box score and saw Buck was pinch hit for. Assumed the worst. That's the best news we could have gotten about him being lifted from the game.
Josh Donaldson could be helped with regular massages and a good diet. Deshaun Watson seems to have experience in the massage department and could refer him to a couple of dozen people.
Max Kepler: "It's called training for a reason. Every spring training, I tinker with something mechanically. The results didn't matter to me that much."
Nelson Cruz: "In 2014, I didn't hit any homers in spring training. Then I led the league in homers."
