How about Mask?

First, because his facial expression basically never changes, like he's wearing a mask.

Second, because to "mask" something means to cover it, and he covers both our opponents' best players and, unfortunately, also sometimes masks our defensive weaknesses (though I love how our D is getting better and better!).

Third, Mask McDaniels passes the "does it sound cool?" test, IMO.
