I was a little off, :D

Of course I knew it was delusional and even said so that everything would have to go perfect. Gobert hasn't been as good as he has been in recent years. Is he going to win DPOY for the 4th time? All Star? Nope. Nope. But he is still excellent on defense, just not the absolute best. The struggle at times to feed him on O without turning it over has been an issue as well.

KAT although I think he is overrated some to me, he is still a great player and I can only assume that we have many more wins if he stays healthy. It does help that Ant has been forced to take over the primary duty for scoring and being the leader though. So bad for the win totals, good for long term.

Well, it comes down to this last game. Abe and Lip - the two biggest pessimists (and rightfully so) - are battling it out for the coveted 2022-23 Minnesota Sports Enjin Wolves Wins Total World Title!

If the Wolves win, then Lip is our winner. If they lose, then Abe can finally get that keychain (this year's prize) he's been coveting all these years.

Who will it be? Will the NBA and ESPN even remember to record who the winner is or will all other programming be canceled in order to ensure the nation - no, the world! - can view LeBron James and the Lakers game today. I heard about a church in Bristol, CT where the preacher was confused and thought LeBron was God and Bronny was Jesus. Or may be he wasn't confused! Billions gaze toward that emerald city on our west coast, awaiting the coronation of the Holy One!

But not these eyes here my friends! May be the Evil One has finally gotten to me, as not even our heavenly father and Lil' Bronny can prevent me from averting my eyes from the Wolves game today. It's gonna be epic for the five or six of us!

I just want to say as I guess the next up pessimist on the board lol that this season in the west played out very much like I predicted which was a significant reason for my 48 win total plus concerns about injuries. If the Wolves had won 48 games they would easily be the a 4 seed and Denver the top seed will have only 52 or 53 wins. I didn't think the it would be quite this many competitive teams but I thought there would be a couple teams that would be better than many expected. I also thought some playoff contending team team would fall of more due to injuries. That didn't really happen. So the west actually ended up being even tighter than I expected. Of course it's also not hard to make an argument that the east is stronger at the top of the conference.
