Thank you 60WinTim for doing this!! Btw, I think this is my 100 post? Do you think it might be possible to upload my post count to the new board to differentiate me from the newbs?? Ahahaha.

We could make something like an r/WolvesEnjin subreddit for a backup in case something happens to Tim's current project

My brain hurts... I've been buried in this for three straight days and nights, but I just hit a milestone of getting the posts to migrate over fairly well. Every single code that you can do, such as "bold", "quoting", etc. require special handling in order to convert to the new system. And a bunch of codes can't be migrated, such as tables, indents and highlights. And I am not going to make lists work because we don't use them often and they were being a real hassle to convert.

I don't have a link, yet, because this is all on a local test environment. I'm either going to put it on my work server, or put it on one of the cheap hosting sites. I feel more in control having root access to the system, so my work server is the most likely destination, at least to start.

The last piece I need to write is a "merge user" routine so that once you register on the board, I can merge your old user with your new one. That will make it so you keep all your stats that you have now, and are still the owner for all your old posts.

Hopefully I can get a link out this week for people to tinker. Then we'll pick a day to rerun the scraper overnight and load the new forum with the latest posts. But for now, I am taking a break to go watch a Wolves game! :)
