Ha, I knew you were going to splash some cold water on this affair, but not dump an entire tub of ice all over the place!
It didn't quite feel right having Monster and his typically more sunny disposition at the bottom. Well, you fixed that!
Or did he? I suspect Abe's prediction is based on a belief that the season will be shortened to 50 games due to the impending monkeypox pandemic. 36 wins is quite optimistic if that scenario comes to fruition.

Despite my pessimism, I usually end up HIGHER than the actual total. Not this year.
Besides, I want a win.
Predicting somewhere between 48 - 55 wins is a crapshoot and I'd have to share the honor.
NOPE. Not this year. After Gobert tears his pectoral muscle trying to stop a Zion Williamson dunk, Edwards is pummeled by angry bartenders and barbacks outside the Gay 90s, and Towns sits out with the clap from his gal pal finding companionship with half of the cast from Love Island... you guys will realize just how prescient I was back in early October.
I'm gonna factor in injuries because for the most part we've been lucky on that end recently.
I'll say 53-29. We have no reason to tank and this team's rep will be that they're a regular season team who gets exposed in the playoffs. Well then they have to hold up their end of their bargain and be a powerhouse regular season team, right? I'm gonna buy in on D'Lo's contract season. I'm gonna buy in on Jaylen Nowell's contract year. I'm gonna cautiously buy McDaniels' having a case for a bigger contract next summer. The vets that are here are bought in on what's happening instead of just taking the best offer they could. In a year, this team could be a top 2 seed in the West, but let's live with early growing pains before they find their stride.

48 wins I'll be plenty happy every single win the Wolves get higher than this.
Taking one win lower than the lowest prediction made so far. I know game theory when I see it. Well done, monster.
Ok there is probably a little sliver of truth to that. Lol I wasn't gonna go as low as 46 and for some reason an even number felt right. As Abe mentioned I don't like sharing my win prediction but honestly I was close to not even throwing a number out there. I think there is a pretty wide range and all of it could mean a really successful season.

I know what I'm talking about here.
Don't do this Abe. Don't put this out there. I really like the Love Island reference though.

Not a bad guess...there are going to be a few really bad teams this year that will lead to an imbalance in the league and some inflated win totals. I have the same win total as you, but I have them 4th.
