Fun paced game and it was way better early on when there were no fouls being called. Lol

I thought overall the Wolves played reasonably well but even though I think they could have played better they had plenty of chances down the stretch to either win or make it a basically make it a 50/50 game at the end. I like how this team is playing right now.

Okogie made an impact. Biyambo had some good minutes for them too.

Thanks for posting, kek...very interesting Rudy is too much of a whiner for my taste (although I appreciate what he brings to this team) so I take his comments with a grain of salt. But I didn't like the offensive foul call when Booker was on him, and I agree that he does seem to get hit in the face a lot with no calls. I do get tired of his constant whining though even when there is an obvious foul called on him...to me it's worse even than KAT was last year.

But Finchie has a lot of credibility with me, so his words hit hard. That's as angry as I've seen him, so I know there is something there.

But I'm not blaming this one on the refs...it wasn't their fault we turned the ball over 21 times. We need to play better.

He's literally been hit in the face twice in two games and hasn't had a review on it. If it was you I'm pretty sure you be pissed too.

Yeah, I said that he has gotten hit in the face with no calls several times, and he is right to complain about that. But I'm talking about the complaining he does on EVERY call that goes against him, even when the calls are obviously correct. That bothers me, and I don't think endears him to the refs either. KAT has been notably better in his on-court behavior this season...it might help Rudy with the refs is he did the same.

Well...the refs did call a bunch of offensive fouls which accounted for a lot of the turnovers so... lol

One missed call that bugged me was Anderson had the ball going to the basket in transition and was clearly pushed in the back and was going down like wounded deer when he got blocked and then a scrum on the floor. Nothing got called. Some people would say that push was a dirty play. Didn't Gobert get a flagrant foul for something slightly worse?

Having said all that the Wolves could have found a way to win even if the officiating didn't favor them. Unfortunately they did have some bad turnovers and late in the game they had at least 2 possessions they got multiple offensive rebounds and couldn't convert it into any kind of basket. That hurt. Despite all that they still managed to make some shots to keep things interesting. I do like this team even if they didn't play as well as they have the last stretch.

Like I said, I'm happy with a 2-1 road trip, although we could have gone 3-0. I need to find someone to blame for us losing last night. Is it Conley for going 1 for 7 on threes? Nope. Is it our bigs for accounting for 18 of our 21 turnovers? Nope. Is it the officials? Nope, not them either.

Someone (or someones) has to take the blame though for getting Ant, Prince and SloMo sick, and for us losing this game, and I'm putting the blame squarely on..............................................................................

Wolves Fan and Sab! Sab, had started three consecutive GDTs and we won all three games, and the board was practically begging him to start another one. But he was a no show. Sab, the board needs to hear from you, and you better have a good excuse for shirking your duty and costing us a big win. And WF, I would have rather had no GD thread than anger the basketball gods by starting one in place of Sab.

I demand an apology to the board from both Sab and WF, dammit. These games are important right now, and we can't afford any more unforced turnovers!

I wasn't counting on ANY wins from that three game road trip. So, yeah - disappointed we didn't pull that one out last night. But to go 2-1, is still way better than I hoped. I wrote at the start of the trip that I would be happy if they just won 1 game - so, I'm not too down.

Now, let's get healthy and finish this season strong. The playoffs are right there for the taking. I've written it before and I'll write it again...I like this year's team better in the playoffs vs. last year's team. But first - we gotta get in!
