Derrick Williams Thread

Post by bleedspeed »

Since he was the second highest picked player in team history I figured I would start a thread for him.

Lets kick it off with.

Allow me to switch topics to another 'tweener forward that we all know: Anthony Bennett. It looks like he asked to go to the D-League so that he could get some playing time and work on his game.

Good on him. I always felt he was the type of guy that needed to bounce a round a bit before perhaps finding his game. May be he's hit bottom and this is the new start he needs to start building something.

Or maybe he's just the biggest non-injury bust in the history of busts.

Check out his d-league stat line. Pretty much sums up his career so far. I'll give him some credit for asking to go to the d-league he probably should be playing there exclusively or for at least a long stretch.

So far this season both Williams and Bennett are who we thought they were.
