The good news is maybe the Clippers will still have continued interest in DLO

Yeah, we needed this shoe to fall, because all the other shoes were on hold until the Irving trade was resolved.

Let's go TC! ;-)

Cool - Good point about the Irving deal possibly resulting in the Clippers having interest in trading for DLO. What are some potential DLO trades to the Clippers you would consider both realistic and beneficial to the Wolves?

Terrance Mann plus a big contract. Probably Marcus Morris.

I think it's a win-win trade for both teams.

My apologies for stepping outside of sports for a brief moment, but this was always going to be the trade.

He was going to a contender in Red America. CLE and MIL have no picks. Irving for Trey makes sense, but there's no way Jamie Gertz is trading for Kyrie. IND makes sense, but there's no way Herb Simon is trading for Kyrie. ORL is not a contender. He plays the same position as Morant. NOP doesn't make enough revenue to (potentially) pay the lux to resign him. And Ainge and Presti are way too bright to add this guy to their locker room. A contender in Red America with a Gentile loudmouth owner who has never REALLY experienced any consequences for the shit that comes out of his mouth? A perfect marriage.

In the short term, this hurts the Wolves. They have one more game against DAL, and may play them in the playoffs. He's good, and he'll be on his best behavior because he wants another contract. But when he and Luka have their first fistfight a year from now, that will help the Wolves.
