Bamba 4 games
Rivers 3 games
Suggs 1 game
Mcdaniels fined
Rivers suspended
Re: Rivers suspended
This makes more sense than the in game penalties. Bamba and rivers ejected, Suggs ejected (or just given a T) and McDaniels getting a T would have made more sense.
Glad Jaden and Prince weren't suspended, but it's gonna suck having to play more nowell/Forbes

I wonder if we see some Moore minutes especially since part of why Rivers is valuable is his defense. If Forbes plays it sure would be nice to see him contribute at least on offense.
Re: Rivers suspended
It sounds like JMac will be back, so that should help replace the Rivers' minutes.

Good stuff, Dave. It aligns with my thoughts as well. The officials severely botched the in-game punishment. I thought Mo Bamba and Austin Rivers were deservedly ejected from the game, but then Jalen Suggs should have received a technical foul for the takedown on Rivers, and that's all. Even setting aside the obvious Timberwolves bias, I really didn't see enough to call a technical on Taurean Prince or Jaden McDaniels, let alone eject them. I thought they mostly acted as peacemakers throughout the scuffle. You could argue that Anthony Edwards literally picking up Cole Anthony and walking him away from the pile was worse than anything Prince or McDaniels did, and Edwards rightfully received zero punishment.
As for who should get more minutes with Rivers suspended, I would like to see Matt Ryan play here and there. I don't think he's anything special, but the guy has made shots this season when he's been given opportunities and he plays hard on both ends, which is more than Jaylen Nowell and Bryn Forbes can say.

If Jmac is back I think he gets the minutes and I think finch likes playing Ryan

Good point about Matt Ryan I was thinking of guys that were more guards but I've liked what I have seen out of Ryan in the way you described him. I like how it feels like the dude can let it fly quickly and from deep from wherever.

Finchie has confirmed JMac will play tonight, but on a minutes restriction. He will likely be the first PG off the bench and absorb most of the backup PG minutes (12-15 perhaps). I suspect guys like Ryan and Moore Jr. will continue to mostly see the court in garbage time like Friday. And with Denver playing their JV tonight, we just might get some garbage time minutes.
