Let's make it 4 in a row- Wolves/Philly GDT

Post by FNG »

Hmm...line has moved this morning from Philly - 1 1/2 to Wolves -2. That's a big move. I suspect either Embiid or Harden (or both) is out tonight. I'm all about playoff positioning and can't go to the game tonight, so I would have no problem with that. Let's get this win!

Philly had a hard fought win against the Pacers last night. And this is their last game of a 5 road games in 7 days stretch. Q's Luck Buffer in action! Wolves just have to take advantage of it.

The top 8 teams in the West all have winning records. But there are 5 teams all bunched together at 31-34 (except OKC at 30-34), fighting for those last two play-in spots, which means there just are not that many tanking teams. Three of those teams are in action tonight against out competitors: Warriors at Thunder, Jazz at Mavs, and Griz at Lakers. The jockeying around for playoff positioning is really intriguing. And the path is there for the Wolves to keep edging up, no matter what Lip says! ;-)

Yep... looking like best-case scenario for the Timberwolves tonight. At the end of a long road trip, Philly wins a close one the night before with the starters playing big minutes.

Seems like a classic load management game... or a mailed-in performance.

Now it's up to the Timberwolves to take advantage.

Yeah, 37 minutes for Maxey and Embiid and 40 for Harden...they gotta be a little stiff today. And Harris and Tucker were hurt (and could be tonight). Their absence left an opening for Jaden's bro to start at PF, and he responded with a 20/8. And he proved he was a true McDaniels with his 5 fouls.

Philly is really good, so the 76ers opening up as only 1 point favorites reflected the back to back and long road trip. But I think the subsequent 3 1/2 point move must mean some news leaked out about who's sitting tonight for the 76ers.

Or could it mean KAT returns  ?
