Just happened to look at the ESPN summary of games played showing game high Points, Rebounds and Assists. So far, 17 games played and the game high assists by player:
Russell - 8 times
KAT - 5 times
Edwards - 3 times
JMac - 1 time
I know someone has been writing that KAT is the main guy setting up Rudy - so maybe that's why his assists are so high? KAT career average assists per game is 3.2 but he's averaging 5.3 so far this year.
Town's our new PG?

I was just thinking about KAT's assists. He has clearly unlocked yet another facet of his extraordinarily versatile offensive game. It's exciting to see.

Yep. Another 8 assists last night. For the year now, DLO has 117 assists. Towns has 98. Big man is a passing machine. I hope some of that unselfishness rubs off on Edwards eventually.

I think Edwards will come around. He's actually a really good passer. He just tends to over-dribble too often looking for his own shot. Every team needs a guard who can dominate the ball, but there's a balance. I think most of it with Edwards is just figuring things out - understanding when an opportunity is likely to develop for him with the ball and when it isn't. Over time I think we'll see him move the ball more often and earlier in his dribble as he gains a better understanding of opposing defenses, his own limitations and what his teammates are doing around him.
