How many of those firsts would you have given up to get Chet here instead of Gobert? Could we have gotten Orlando or okc to bite on the following package? Would you have done this? I know it's too late, and it never would have happened right now in MN, but this kid will be great, so I was just curious.

Haha fair enough. Probably way too much. I really like Kessler too. I don't usually watch other teams, but I think I'll be watching some okc this year. Likable MN kid and his ceiling is the roof :)

I like Chet a lot also, think the weight thing is super overrated. He was really good today. Did look a little slow to me though even though he dominated

In all seriousness IMHO Chet isn't a prospect I would be dying to get. If Inwas a team that was building because I had a top picknsure ai would be happy to have a shot at drafting him. I like all the guys that went top 5 but I wouldn't be selling out to get any of them. Chet...lots of good stuff there but I also just find myself not convinced he will reach whatever upside he may have. Jabari Smith I watched him in 2 games while I was watching Kessler and I didn't feel blown away. Banchero honestly I liked the most out of the 3 bigs. The worry with him is defense. Still he is big and is built pretty strong. Again would I trade a bunch of stuff that it would take to go up and get him? No. Maybe that's wrong but I just don't feel strongly enough to give up the assets to theoretically go from #19 up to 1-3. If someone thinks one of those guys is gonna be a star then yeah sure do it although I think it's gonna take Chet longer to get there than the other guys.

I wouldn't have done this deal, D...too much uncertainty about Chet vs. a sure thing in Rudy.

That said, like you I'll be cheering for the local kid. Fun to see him put up 23 points and 6 blocks in only 24 minutes last night!
