Said it long ago, they just drive him under the rim (plenty of which seems to be that he has zero trust in anyone rotating down to cover his guy) and then they pull up for a short jumper or floater. Rudy seems much slower than 2 years ago and it is only going to get worse. Any twitch seems lost. The Wolves pace they play with offensively isn't helping. Utah was built around Gobert, lots of passing, Rudy moving around screening, rolling when the defense broke. Minnesota is filled with too much iso, trying to push the pace far too often, rendering him almost useless on that end.
If you watch the defensive rotations from an experienced team, i.e. Boston the other night, or Denver last night. That is what Gobert needs around him. If a player on those teams got beat by their guy driving I guarantee they would let Gobert just wall up and run directly to cover for his guy or the next guy.
