Theoretically, they have the personnel to play both ways -- space and pace or slow it down and grind out possessions. That was supposed to be a strength for Minnesota.
Another fun game. Different offense tonight with a lot more ISO...but our speed with these lineups is undeniable.
Naz has actually arrived and should see his usage increase.
McDaniels gets the game ball tonight. Our defense is so good when we shut down the point of attack.
A lot of highlights tonight, but my favorite play was early in the 4th when some Mav put up a shot and Austin Rivers put Christian Wood on his hip and rode him from almost the paint to almost out of bounds.
Just find a way to win. That's three in a row now. Minnesota is 6-4 in their last 10, all of which were without Karl-Anthony Towns. Guys are stepping up.
Rodney Mott ejected both Luka Doncic & Rick Carlisle back in May 2021.
Rodney Mott ejected both Luka Doncic & Jason Kidd tonight.
Rodney Mott is now accountable for 2 of Luka Doncic's 4 career ejections.
I watched the game tonight and it was the Dallas broadcast crew. They mentioned this and honestly they didn't even seem that upset that Luka got thrown out. It was kinda weird. Lol

Rivers and other Wolves guards were playing tough inside. That Edwards play where he gave up no ground and stoned Wood I think was awesome. Nowell isn't an awesome defender but at least he has a decently strong base. He showed that in the middle of the game and it ended up with a turnover for Dallas.
